Place this product between the leash and collar of your dog for a shock-free walking experience.
New, patented, proven shock absorbing action is activated upon any sudden pull, lunge, or jerk by the animal. Two compression
springs minimize shock or strain transmitted by the animal which…

Do your joints
Walking younger, bigger, or active dogs can be shocking to your joints and cause severe injury or discomfort to your shoulders and arms.
Our patented compression spring technology gives a natural absorbing action only springs can provide.
Relieve your sore shoulders, arms, and your tired joints. Let Whoa Doggie® absorb that shock!
The body of the shock absorber is made of lightweight, flexible, resilient tubular polymer material which will not cause injury when struck by it. The body has a stop in each end and two compression springs of varying strengths within the tubular body between the stops.
Tension cables are attached to the compression springs and extend out of the body connecting to a snap hook and a ring. The pulling on the tension members causes compression of the springs to reduce shock-loading on the dog walker. After the springs are pulled solid, the resiliency of the polymer body continues to absorb shock.
The Whoa Doggie® carries both a US utility and design patent.
When axial tension is applied to the Whoa Doggie®, the lighter② spring first compresses and becomes solid, while the heavier① spring is only half compressed.
This means progressive increase of force with the force per unit of spring deflection increasing in rate as the lighter② spring becomes solid. This extends the range over which the shock absorber is effective. Another important factor in shock absorption is that the body is made of resilient polymer composition material. It also stretches up to 50% under tension to additionally absorb shock.
In general, a bungee cord should never be stretched more than twice its resting length. Even with normal use, bungee will eventually stretch permanently, fray, or break as exposure to sun, rain, wind, and extreme temperatures can accelerate a cord's deterioration.
Injury due to a bungee break (or improper fasten) on a stretched bungee cord can recoil at high speeds causing serious damage to sensitive areas such as your eyes.
Our resilient polymer is engineered to expand up to half its length. Should deterioration occur due to excessive use, it will in no way cause injury to you or your pet if broke.
It even stops them from choking!
I bought the 'Whoa Doggie' because my labs are always pulling me. It doesn't stop them from pulling (I don't think anything will), but it does take all the associated pain away. It even stops them from choking! They used to hack and gag up there on the end of their leash, but your product is so careful and appropriately designed that it even takes the pain away from the dogs when they walk.

This is the product I have been waiting for
I'm so glad I found something that didn't pinch or poke or choke my dog when he walks. I hated hurting him! This is the product I have been waiting for. Thanks!

a well built, strong, durable product
I have a hugely overgrown German Shepard (110 lbs) and I thought he might be trouble for your larger Whoa Doggie (he's been known to break chains) but so far he tugs and pulls on that thing and it's held up so well, it's even kept it's shiny look when i wipe off the mud. A great design, a well built, strong, durable product. Impressed. Thank you

it works smooth. Now we never take it off
My wife had me us this thing. I was skeptical. I have a Rottweiler. I walked her around and I didn't feel anything. I thought maybe she just wasn't tugging. Then I took it off, walked her a bit more, THEN I realized she had been pulling the whole time. All to say yes, it works smooth. Now we never take it off.

Your product seems to stop the discomfort she's feelign when she pulls
My pup hates being on a harness and I hate the feeling in my stomach how I'm hurting her when she pulls. Your product seems to stop the discomfort she's feeling when she pulls. Thank you!

I no longer feel as if she is pulling my arm out of the socket
I must say, it is truly an ingenious device. As you predicted, it does not prevent my dog from pulling, HOWEVER... it does give me a moment's notice to ready myself when I see she is about to lunge. And I no longer feel as if she is pulling my arm out of the socket when she does make a sudden lunge. So it truly is a shock absorber. I have several serious back issues, and I feel as though the Whoa Doggie is saving extra strain on my back as well. That, in itself, makes the device well worth the price. A friend saw me using the Whoa Doggie, asked what it was, and where I got it. I told him, and he was very jealous, saying, "What a great idea!" So I'm taking this time to congratulate you on a wonderful new product, to thank you for letting me be among the first to try it out, and to wish the company much success.

Your product is a wonderful idea for those of us who have back problems.

this product has relieved my shoulders from pain
I cannot count how many times this product has relieved my shoulders from pain. At my age, this product is a necessity.
